Thursday Late: DJ Nicholas Currie

Thursday, 28 May, 6pm-8pm

Join us at Incinerator Gallery for Thursday Late—an evening that extends the gallery’s opening hours accompanied by public programming activating our current autumn exhibitions.

On Thursday, 28 May, from 6pm to 8pm, we will be joined by Nicholas Currie (Mulunjali and Kuku Yalanji) for a DJ set amplifying the spaces of Incinerator Gallery.

Nicholas is an artist and curator working with painting, sculpture and performance. He was the guest curator of Big Smart—an exhibition foregrounding First Nations pedagogy and knowledge presented at Incinerator Gallery in 2025. Humour and kindness are undercurrents to the major themes addressed in his works: contemporary Indigenous perspectives, hauntology and exploration of identity within current Australia. Nicholas Currie is represented by Daine Singer.

Light refreshments will be served.

Free—bookings recommended.
