Olivia Chin: Public Art Commission & Artist Talk

Free - RSVP essential

Saturday 11:30am-12:30pm

13 June

Join us at Ascot Vale Library on Saturday the 13th of June from 11:30am–12:30pm to celebrate the commission of new public artworks by multidisciplinary artist Olivia Chin, created in collaboration with members of the Moonee Valley community.

The installation includes works from Olivia’s exhibition, Body Field, originally showcased at Incinerator Gallery in early 2024, alongside a community-created cyanotype artwork using the historic blueprinting process known for its vivid Prussian blue tones. The exhibition will also feature three new works by Olivia. Together, the artworks represent a collaboration between more than 20 community members, Moonee Valley Libraries, and Incinerator Gallery.

The event will feature an artist talk by Olivia Chin, offering insight into the collaborative creative process behind the works, as well as light refreshments and an opportunity to experience the artworks throughout the library.
