Mindfulness Watercolour and Art Therapy Workshop

Take a deep breath and let colour flow. This workshop offers a gentle and welcoming space to explore watercolour painting, creativity, and self-expression. No experience is needed—just bring an open mind and a willingness to play.

Together, we will explore the calming and restorative benefits of artmaking, using creativity as a way to slow down, relax, and connect with ourselves. Through mindful painting and gentle guidance, you’ll experience the unique beauty of watercolour—its softness, movement, and happy surprises.

As you paint, you’ll discover when to gently guide the water and colour, and when to let go and trust the process. This workshop is an invitation to pause, be present, and enjoy the simple joy of creating in a supportive and nurturing environment. Warming refreshments will be provided during this workshop.

The session is facilitated by Xiang Li. An award-winning artist and professional Art Therapist (AThR). Xiang is the winner of the Wyndham Art Prize Local Emerging Artist 2021 and a finalist of multiple art awards across Australia.
