Shape

This month we explore the depiction of shapes, and whether classifying shapes as positive or negative elements within spatial fields can influence our visual perception. Using the techniques of colouring-in and collage – and working with materials and media sourced from our home environments – the integral nature of shapes in two-dimensional art making will be celebrated.
