Sensational Skies 1

Art Club – October

Welcome to Art Club online – where the Incinerator Gallery comes to you.

Our art educator Gina Panebianco invites you to learn about the history of portraiture from the comfort of your own home.

Please take a photo of your self-portrait drawings and share them on InstagramFacebook, or our Facebook Group Incinerator Art Club.

Use the hashtag #IncineratorGallery so everyone can share and support each other, just as we do during the program at Incinerator Gallery.

Sensational Skies

Sensational: causing great interest or excitement and relating to sensation or the senses. Similar words spectacular, impressive, heavenly, out of this world, formidable, masterly.

The definition and at least one of these descriptors apply to the artworks we will consider in this month’s talk. Drawn from International and Australian collections, each artwork arouses our interest and elicits an emotive response or the work aroused great interest at the time in which it was made with either favourable or critical response.
