Cropping

This month Carly uses a window device to restrict our view of an object that we’re going to draw. This can be helpful to use as a guide helps us to view and draw an object exactly as we see it, not how we imagine it to be by the time our eyes reach the drawing.

You will need:

• paper to draw on
• paper or card to make a frame device
• something to draw with pencils, charcoal, pastel (oil or chalk), watercolour, gouache or oil paint
• whatever you have at hand
