School Experience Tours
Every Tuesday throughout the duration of The Playground Project Melbourne 28 June - 12 October, the Incinerator Gallery will be open exclusively to school groups.
The Playground Project Melbourne provides a unique educational opportunity, offering students an experiential learning experience and extending their curriculum-based learning. Students will be able to discover and play on the four playgrounds that are the highlight, whilst also learning about the history of playground design from the early 19th to the early 21st century from the extensive large scale photographic, archival, sound and moving image documentation.
These experiential and inquiry-based education experiences are designed to foster a deeper understanding of the connection between art, design, urban spaces and society through the experience of play.
We welcome students of all ages and abilities and can tailor the School Experience Tours to suit your students and desired curriculum outcomes.
