In this exhibition, artist Romy Durrant presents a series of oil paintings celebrating the freedom of expression beyond societal boundaries and expectations. Romy is a neurodivergent artist who identifies as disabled. In describing how social environments can be overwhelming, she says “My imagination is my best coping tool.” Through abstract expressions of space, colour, and brushwork, Sentient Worlds finds solace in the experience of one’s own internal world.
