In this new exhibition, the Wingate Avenue Art Group celebrates its members' love of art, learning, and their shared joy in community. Led by volunteer tutor Elif Yuksek since 2005, the group meets regularly at Wingate Avenue Community Centre in Ascot Vale. Members, stemming from diverse backgrounds, share a common desire for creative expression and skills development. Over the years, they have actively participated in end-of-year exhibitions at the Centre, with this exhibition making its debut at Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre.
