Strathmore Mural

23 March – onwards
Underpass at Pascoe Avenue, Strathmore.

We’ve created a new mural in Strathmore! Strathmore based artists Eva Giannoulidis and Jasper Killick have worked with students from local schools to create a new mural on the underpass at Pascoe Avenue, Strathmore.

About the artists

Melbourne ceramicist Eva Giannoulidis is owner and operator of Ceramica Mechanica: an artist-run warehouse studio, gallery and store located in Strathmore. Drawing inspiration from the aliveness of plants, Eva’s art practice involves wheel throwing, hand-building and colourist painting techniques. Rich pastel colours and textures are evident in Eva’s distinctive ceramics.

Jasper Killick (a.k.a Toggles) is a Strathmore based multi-disciplinary artist who holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture and Mechanical Engineering. He uses a variety of digital fabrication techniques to produce complex interlocking structures which fit together like puzzles to make functional psychedelic playgrounds for all ages. Toggles’ work has been featured at Festivals across Australia.
