This exhibition explores Candy’s deep affection for the local suburbs of Footscray, Moonee Ponds, and Essendon. Through a collection of still life paintings and painted bottles, the exhibition draws upon the local dining scene and the natural beauty of the landscape, which characterises the north-west. Celebrating the harmonious interplay between food, community, and place, this exhibition pays tribute to the rich cultures, flavours and stories that define these local areas.
