Studio Workshops at the Incinerator Gallery

Learn or reconnect with the basics of printmaking. Artist Tama Sharman will demonstrate a range of print-making processes including relief-printing, multiplate linocut, image transfer, registration techniques and colour applications. Participants will apply these skills to create an individual, finished artwork. Students will be encouraged to experiment and use print-making in unique ways.

Suitable for beginners to advanced levels.

Tama Sharman is an experienced printmaker, having completed a Bachelor degree with Honours in Printmaking, specialising in relief printing. Tama’s recent practice has become more experimental utilising a wider range of surfaces and processes that have pushed the medium and Tama’s art practice in exciting ways. Tama has exhibited in galleries across Australia, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea, and more recently at the Incinerator Gallery. In 2018 Tama was awarded the Midsumma Australia Post Art Prize.
